I've just got myself a SPS 2000 for use in my (table service) restaurant. Now, I only bought the terminal as I already have a cash drawer and a printer (an Epson T88II which seems to be a compatible printer). The SPS 2000 came without any instructions but E-Till Systems (the retailer) did provide me with a pdf of the programming manual.
Anyway, my first problem is getting the printer to work- it's all plugged in and powered up but the SPS doesn't seem to 'see' the Epson T88II and the serial port tests all show 'fail'. I'm not entirely sure how to configure the serial ports though. Am I missing something completely obvious?
If anyone has a quick set-up guide, it would be greatly appreciated. I'll upload the manual to this website (seems there are a few sites out there charging for it) and I also found a pdf of the operation guide somewhere, which I'll upload once I find it again.
